Society International Convention
Sekhon will be speaking
on the composition panel at the 2016 Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Indianapolis, IN. The session will
take place on Friday November 11, 2016 at 11:00am. Other panel members include Michael Burritt, Casey Cangelosi, and Andy
Akiho.

Sekhon's work for vibraphone and electronics was selected for performance at the SEAMUS
(Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States) 2016 National Conference. This performance will feature vibraphonist

Jeff Heisler's new CD "Gradient"
was released in June 2015 on the AMP Record label. Sekhon's work, Gradient, is the opening track of the CD. The new ablum, also featuring pianist I-Chen Yeh, can
be found on Amazon, iTunes, and other major retailers. Global
Premiere - New Saxophone + Piano Commission
Global
Première, a new organization dedicated to promoting new commissions around the world, has launched its first major
project with a new work by Dr. Baljinder Sekhon. This new platform brings together the highest quality musicians, one from
each U.S. state and foreign country, by special invitation, and they each support the commission of a new work that they
will individually premiere in their respective locales. Among the many saxophonists involved
include Timothy McAllister, Cliff Leaman, Chien-Kwan Lee, Douglas Braga, Doug O'Connor, and John Sampen. A full list of participants
